WA CFA’s first co-funding partnership announced

Our first co-funding partnership for 2025 is in support of Ngala’s ‘Proof of concept’ development and pilot of a Virtual Parenting Support Program.  Minderoo Foundation and Stan Perron Charitable Foundation have agreed to contribute to this collaboration over the next two years.

The aim is to deliver vital parenting support to the most vulnerable families, particularly in remote communities across Western Australia.  By leveraging digital platforms and technology and utilising their extensive knowledge and experience in everything parenting, Ngala seeks to provide accessible, culturally sensitive parenting education and support, ensuring that even the most isolated families benefit from high-quality, personalised care.

The partnership aims to:

  • Empower parents with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive;
  • Support children’s emotional and developmental wellbeing; and
  • Ensure that families, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, receive the support they need in a way that respects their cultural identities.
